I am an Assistant Professor in the College of Computing & Informatics (CCI) at Drexel University.
I am also the co-Director of the Security and Privacy Analytics Laboratory (SePAL) along with Dr. Yue Zhang.
My research addresses real-world computer security and privacy challenges through rigorous data-driven, qualitative, and quantitative analyses. I investigate technical vulnerabilities alongside human factors—such as user behaviors and decision-making—to understand how adversaries exploit both technological and social gaps. My work spans e-crime, threat intelligence, underground economies, Internet fraud, and web security, with a growing focus on emergent AI-driven threats and their impact on human vulnerabilities. By integrating technical, behavioral, and adversarial perspectives, I aim to develop comprehensive strategies that bridge technological defenses and human-centric solutions, ultimately strengthening our collective resilience against evolving cyber risks.
